Cancellation Requests Made 30 or More Days Before Class
Participants must submit a written cancellation request at least 30 calendar days before the scheduled course or event start date to be considered for a refund. Such requests are generally approved, subject to review by WITS. An approved refund may be reduced by an administrative fee of up to 10% of the course registration cost, applicable nonrefundable credit card processing fees, and other nonrefundable charges disclosed before registration, to the extent permitted by law.
Late Cancellations and Transfers
Cancellations received fewer than 30 calendar days before the course or event start date are nonrefundable. WITS may approve a transfer to another available course date at its discretion; a transfer is not guaranteed. Each approved late transfer is subject to a Late Change fee determined by the circumstances. Additional administrative fees may apply for repeated changes or additional processing. WITS will disclose applicable fees before finalizing the transfer. Transfers requested 30 or more days before class are reviewed individually, and a change fee may apply. Additional transfers are subject to WITS approval and applicable fees.
No-Shows and Courses Already in Progress
Participants who do not attend their scheduled course or event and do not notify WITS beforehand are not eligible for a tuition refund or transfer. No tuition refund or registration change is available once a course or event has begun, except as required by applicable law.
Books and Course Materials
The separately identifiable cost of books or course materials may be refunded only if the participant has not received or picked up those items. Books and course materials already provided to a participant are nonrefundable, except as required by law.
If WITS Cancels a Course
If WITS cancels a scheduled course or event, participants may choose either a full refund of tuition and fees paid or a transfer to another available course date at no additional charge.
Other Refund Circumstances
A full refund of applicable tuition and fees will be provided when:
- Fees were assessed or collected in error.
- WITS determines after registration that a participant was ineligible to enroll, provided the participant supplied complete and accurate information.
- A participant is called to compulsory active military service and cannot attend the scheduled course.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever practicable. Credit card refunds will be initiated within 2 business days after approval; the participant’s bank or card issuer may require additional processing time. Refunds issued by check will arrive within 7 to 10 business days after approval.
How to Submit a Request
Participants may call WITS to discuss a cancellation or transfer, but the request must be confirmed in writing. Written requests may be submitted by email to WITS or through the contact form at backflowschool.com/contact/. The date WITS receives the written request determines whether the 30-calendar-day deadline has been met.
Applicable Law
All provisions of this policy are subject to applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation or refund rights that participants may have under applicable law.
