AUTOMATIC CONTROL VALVE COURSE-

12 Contact Hours, 1.2 Continuing Education Units
Prerequisites: High school diploma or equivalent, Must be over 18 years old, Effectively communicate in English (speaking and writing skills)
This course is designed for plumbers, engineers, cross-connection control inspectors, backflow technicians, building supervisors, and anyone involved with the management, operations, and mainenance of water distribution systems. A dynamic blend of classroom and hands-on, this class will cover:

Preventive Maintenance Program
To successfully complete this course, students will demonstrate and apply all of the diagnostics for Automatic Control Valves. Students will analyze whether or not a water system is having difficulties with an automatic control valve or the water system. Students will prepare a viable preventive maintenance program for control valves.
A Certificate of Completion and Contact Hours will be awarded at the end of this course. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are also available for students who have met all course requirements with at least a 70% average on all written examinations.
